Can Khan Go As Far As Zab Judah?

First of all these guys have alot in common, Whilst Zab is a south paw and Khan is orthodox they both have speed, power, reflexes, good footwork, Both were trained by former World Champion kickboxers, Yoel Judah and Oliver Harrison.

I feel that the kickboxing influence limited Zabs career, Also that the kickboxing influence early from Oliver Harrison has left a mark on Khans style. Its hard to remove that.

Zab is partly an underachiever, Supremely talented he just lacked the dedication and seemed lazy at times and easily distracted. Khan whilst dedicated when in training camp is also easily distracted, Sending naked SMS to models etc.

Another thing that both Zab and Khan have in common is that they are no Marvin Haglers, There Chins are not the best in the world. We seen Zab KO by Tszyu and Khan KO by Prescott. Both in a very dramatic and sensational manner.

Zab also always managed to land the big name fights, Mayweather, Cotto, Tszyu, But never beat any of the big names.

So baring this in mind and your own opinions and imputs do you think Khan will end his career with a record similar to Zabs? Better or worse?

    Zab Judah record:

    won 38 (KO 26) + lost 6 (KO 2) + drawn 0 = 46
    rounds boxed 259 KO% 56.52

Khan is young enough to re-write those errors. Look at his style now compared to a few fights back, a lot has changed even though it's not completely obvious.

He's starting to use his physical attributes a lot more and his defense has improved tenfold.

Khan will go much further than Judah, he's being trained by the best and has more potential than Judah did.

Why not aim for a higher goal... aim as high as Whitaker, Pacquiao, Leonard.. so if ever he fails, who knows, he might still be ahead of what Zab has achieved..

Zab career, not a good destination.

Whitaker, Pacquio, Leonard are hall of famers if not ATGs. I do think Khan can become a hall of famer in the future but not an ATG.

Its nice to set big targets, but its also self-defeating, He wont surpass Aaron Pryor. But im certain he will surpass Zab.

Zab has always been one of the most gifted fighters in the game.. Just hasnt trained right for the big fights or choked. Khan is a well constructed fighter but until he fights some legit competition, its hard to say how he will compare.

i tend to **** on zab a bit but he got in the ring with a lot of very talented fighters in their prime.

Maybe Khan will prove me wrong and do the same but i wont hold my breath
