Yet you claim that Mayweather ducked him because Mayweather no longer wanted the fight when Mosley came to his senses and decided he wanted the fight. I find it interesting that you ignore the fact that Mayweather called Cotto out at 140 and neither Cotto, Arum or Cotto's handlers wanted any part of Mayweather then, even though Cotto was a world champion at the time and Mayweather was moving up in weight. I also find it interesting that you ignore the fact that no one in the boxing industry, including the majority of the fans gave a **** about Margarito or Williams before Floyd retired. But as soon as he retired, Floyd was ducking these two nobodies. And, last but not least, I find it interesting that ignorant haters like you never mention the fact that Cotto and Pac have not called out or offered to fight Paul Williams and Margarito and Arum tried to avoid him (even though Williams was Margarito's mandatory) before Margarito lost to him. Yet, Floyd is the only one in the welterweight division who is ducking Paul Williams.

In other words, I am fascinated by yours and others habitual ignorance!!!
Couldn't of said it better myself, incase you didn't notice there's two sets of rules in boxing. The 1st set of rules pertains to floyd and the 2nd set refer to Manny. Its comical when you listen to it. Everybody who thinks that Manny is on Floyd's level always points to the De La Hoya and Hatton fight as a basis of comparison. Saying that since Floyd went the distance with de la hoya and 10 rds with Hatton then Manny can pose those same threats. However, when you look at the common opponent that manny had problems with, JMM and use the same analogy its and unfair comparison because JMM moved up 2 weight classes.

Personally im sick and tired of hearing how Floyd ducked this one and that one, im just curious to know, out of all the people that Floyd has been accused of ducking how many of them weren't associated with Bob Arum or his advisor Al Haymon. (Makes a difference) However when you hear Freddie Roach admit that he refused Mosley for Pacquiao because in his words " Your not De La Hoya and your 2 good". That kinda sounds like ducking to me. After he trained de la hoya for the mayweather fight Freddie Roach went on record and said that Oscar couldnt pull the trigger, so what does he do, he ask's De la hoya to move down to ww (a division he didn't fight at in over 10 years). To me that sounds like taking the easy fight.

I love Pacquiao's fighting style and its very appeasing and crowd pleasing, but name one welterweight he fought that was in the top 5 when he fought them at WW. Cotto doesn't count because he fought him at 145lbs and De la hoya doesn't count either because he wasn't even ranked in any division at the time they fought. You can make a longer list of guys that pacquiao should've fought than mayweather's list. I can honestly say that Miguel Cotto and Margarito are the only 2 names that Mayweather couldve or shouldve fought, but when you look back at the history between him and there promoters did anybody ever think those 2 fights would happen.

Since Manny moved up in weight he's been handpicking beat or shot opponents, guys that have to lose an incredible amount of weight (like Morales the 2nd time or De La hoya) or guys that looked shot or loss there previous fights, like Hatton and Clottey. I give him credit for moving up in weight and beating bigger guys, but im not sucking his d;ck for it. He had a pit stop at 135lbs, when Juan Diaz was ruling that division and even called him out, he couldve fought nate Campbell, or at 140, timothy bradley or kendall holt **** even Ricardo Torres. Like manny avoids these fights and people say it doesnt make business sense or Manny's more about legacy than Money, but he forces Clottey to take a 90-10 purse split, after his legacy is already secure. I agree with sr. here, Mayweather should be fighter of the decade not manny but you can't go wrong with either one, but one is undefeated the other has only fought 3 guys at their respective weight classes as he moved up. (Diaz, Hatton, and CLottey) Over hyped

      • You guys are one of very few who make sense and know their history. Floyd called ppl out when he wanted to make a name for himself and they declined. Now that he's the top dog these dudes wanna come out and ask for fights. Bottom line; pbf vs pac = a long ass night for manny. I said the same thing b4 he fought mosley, and as you saw, it was indeed a loooong ass nite for mosley. Pac fans or *******s(I love this one) are emotionally invested in him. Their judgement is clouded. Look @ the number of excuses roach gave 4 him not wanting pbf. Roach doesn't have the blueprint 2 beat floyd and he ****en knows it. Nobody ever responds w/logic on these posts. Btw, I route for pac in most fights, and I think he's a gentleman(on camera anyway), but trust me "HE DOES NOT STAND A MUTHA***EN CHANCE"

And Floyd doesnt pick on beat or shot fighters..

Hmm he took the fight against Zab after Zab was coming off that loss..

Hmm Mosley was in his prime.. How many losses did Shane have going up against Floyd..

Lets see Hatton had once loss when he fought Pac dont tell me that once took everything outta him or Cottos one lost..

And dont come back and say its ok for Shane to have a number of losses fighting Floyd but not okay for Cotto and Hatton to have 1 loss to consider them shot or old..

Which is the reason why the Mayweathers threw in the road block and made the accusation that Pac is on PEDs, cause Pac doesnt stand a chance but lets be little his accomplishments.

Its so damn easy for Floyd thats why he hasnt taken the biggest payday of his life already and steal that easy paycheck.. Come on dude..

Be real, if Floyd knew Pac doesnt stand a chance we woulda had this fight made already and possibly Floyd setting up a rematch to steal more of what you call an easy payday..

But bottom line is Pac opposes as a threat to Floyd.
Floyd equals big reward less risk.. PAC IS A BIG RISK..

                  • Floyd Joy Mayweather Sr. conveniently jumps on his son's bandwagon of being "undefeated" for a decade & longer. However the Taco Bell eating and Kool Aid host of Hatton's BBQ-cookout was the 1st to proclaim that Oscar beat his son from ringside. Actually this was the most honest moment of daddy's life b/c it was Roach as DLH's chief 2nd, not he. Oh well, when you have a brother that talks about A-Side Meth and beats up C class chick boxers then I guess it's all good.

In the land where INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, Pacquiao still rules. There are no grounds for a blood test. For Margarito and Mosley, yeah...
Margarito and mosley never tested positive for any PEDs.
