Think we can get Tua in there against Wlad

I want to make this happen for Tunney because I know he wants to see this fight.

Tua is ranked by the WBO so it's not impossible if he beats Barett in spectacular fashion.

Tua is happy fighting bums once a year, he'll just get old before he gets another title shot, if he isn't too old already. There's absolutely NO reason to take 2 years off, then 6 months between fights.

He's ranked #2 behind Povetkin isn't he? So we could see this next year.

        You are absolutely right.

Ideally, I would like to see Wlad take out Povetkin in September and fight Tua in December.

Tua would knock Wlads head off.

Tua would be no more than a decent name on Wlad's resume at this point. Absolutely zero chance of him actually winning the fight, even with his phenomenal knock out power. Wouldn't mind seeing the fight though, if only to see Tua back on the world stage.

Yeah except he tried that already with Lennox Lewis and Chris Byrd, neither one did he even stun in their respective fights.

I'm sorry but to hit Wlad you have to get past that jab, and Tua is a slow plodder who was content to get beat the f up by Lewis all night long.

It would mean a nice big final payday for Tua to retire on.

I just get the feeling it would be a very dull and somewhat sad display from Tua, plodding apathetically around the ring getting his cauldron head smashed in as he does his little token bob n' weave, throwing the odd hook that doesn't get anywhere near the target and possibly even retiring in the tenth or eleventh when both his eyes swell shut from the ******* of unanswered jabs and right hands that Wlad has been landing at will upon him the whole night. Not a real high note to go out on.

Yes, Tua is a "slow plodder", but only from the 4th or 5th rd on. In the first few rds he is pretty active-or used to be.
