First...Floyd won't have the reach and height advantage that Pinto had over Cotto..

Second, Pinto was doing "well" when he boxed from the outside cuz he wasn't getting punish like he did fighting on the inside...Not cuz he was beating Cotto from the outside...

I'm not saying that Cotto will beat Floyd, All I'm saying is that Cotto has the skills to do it, he just needs more pro experience...Floyd is a veteran and IMO is in his peak...Cotto is still learning..

and with all the clean shots gatti was taken, he didnt get brutally knocked out, just took a lot of abuse.

1) floyd wont get that many clean shots on cotto.

2) he wont brutally KO cotto, that i can guarantee, based on mayweathers performances so far at 140.

3) at this point, he'd probably get a decision, and id even say a one-sided decision if it makes you happy.
