At one point Mike Tyson was the Ring Magazine p4p king...so I'd say yes.

Ke$ha and Heeb are right. Mike Tyson at one point and time was considered P4P best by the ring

Yes, but it's rare. Mike Tyson was ranked as the #1 p4p by The Ring in the late 80s.

And please, kill that myth that the term was created for Sugar Ray Robinson. Ray helped popularize it, but other fighters, including guys who fought @ heavyweight, were called the best pound-for-pound before Walker Smith ever laced up a pair of gloves.

Not in this era. But I think Wlad has been hold down anyways he deserves to be at least in the top 10, not the king of course but he deserves the spot more than Caballero or Donaire.

How could Ali be he best p4p, just because he fought 185 pounders frequently doesnt mean he was good p4p.

Ali in his day was the p4p greatest fighter in the world.

Tyson was p4p and when Roy Jones Jr. was fighting at HW he was still the p4p greatest fighter in the world.

So yes, of course a heavy can be p4p king.
