Not to stroke my own **** here but I said months before the fight that Yuri was Jennings + 7lbs and the fight did play out in similar fashion aside from the injury.

Still, Yuri was an unbeaten defending world champion and Cotto was coming up in weight and off of a TKO loss to dominate.

      I remember you saying this.....

      And you were right....

Just another tailor made fight for you know who....

Add him to the list of: Urkal, Branco, Mailgnaggi, Quintana, Jennings, etc.....

You're being ridiculous. Foreman is in The Ring's top 10 even now (at #7), and is also still in boxrec's top 10 (at #9).

Jennings has never even made anyone's top 50 (other than the WBO's, but they're corrupt). Coming into the Cotto fight, Jennings was ranked just outside the top 50 by boxrec and wasn't ranked at all by any other independent rankings body.

Foreman did enough against Cotto to show that he'd give a good and fairly competitive fight to any of the top Jnr Middleweights - especially when you take his injury into account. He lacks pop but is very skilled and has excellent lateral movement (when he isn't injured)), a bit like a Jr Middleweight version of Malignaggi. To compare him with Jennings, who has no skill whatsoever, and is a total journeyman who would never in a million years be able to be competitive against any top 20 fighter, is just ******.

If your thread had been "How was Yuri Foreman not just a bigger version of Paulie Malignaggi?" you'd have made some sense. As it is, it's a truly ****** thread.
