Calderon Calls Out Segura, Darchinyan and arce

I was watching the local news. and Ivan calderon said that Segura should stop talking and send him a contract, that he will fight in Mexico if he have to. Calderon said he hopes Segura signs a contract but that he is afraid he will not like Solis and Sosa did. Then he added that he will most like move to 112 win a title, then he will like to fight Vic Darchinyan or arce. He says hell prefer Darchinyvn because it presents a way tougher challenge plus more money!

I dont know men, Cazarez is a bit more skilled than Darchinyan and have about the same power!!!

Vic is one of my favorite fighters but Calderon makes him look silly. Also I have caught all 5 of segura's last fights and that dude is too raw to beat a skill technician. My only problem with all of this though is ivan should have been doing this earlier. 108 is ****in loaded and I feel he was wasting his time with fight against Iribe and others. If he was a young man...OK, but isn't he 34-35. He needs to take advantage of these opportunities while he can.

I was just thinking how would he do against Naito, Wonkonjam, Koki. All those fights are at straight flyweight.


I don't know if he could handle Vic. C'mon, it's no secret that I don't like Vic but really. Who can beat him at flyweight besides Donaire? No one. I have a hard time believing Calderon a 5 foot flat, ex-minimum weight, despite all his skill, can beat Vic.

Yes, Vic is sloppy but he isn't above charging at you. Calderon been out boxing guys who are trying to out-think him. Vic ain't doin no thinking, he gonna try to get at you specially if you gonna evade all night.
