He's not banned in the US he just hasn't got a state license yet. I'm sure he could get approved in PR for a mega fight there.

what people u talkin about. the rematch ppv would be bigger then the first fight. its pr vs mex, cottos chance for redemption and we know for sure marg would not be loaded. too much conspiracy for this not to happen.

The first fight did 500k buys, the rematch would easily do more than that with the hand wrapping scandal. Also, Cotto won't fight in Texas or Mexico he's going to be running the rules in this fight. It'll be in NY probably at Yankee stadium, with attendance of about 35-45k I would say, and PPV buys would be in the 700k I would bet.
