if you were a juror in Pac's lawsuit, would you be convinced by Mayweather's evidence

Manny is claiming that since he beat all of GBP's offerings, including ODLH, that GBP started slandering him during the Mayweather negotiations.
And he blames the negotiations falling apart and hence lost revenue to GBP who should be looking after (his) best interest and not calling him a roid cheat in public.Comment

Did you miss the part where Team Manny is claiming consfiracy since JMM 2? Read before you litter these boards with your emotions...

So Pacquiao's defamation lawsuit is still pressing forward. If you were on the jury and the question was asked to camp Mayweather, "what evidence" does he have that Pacquiao is on steroids? Allegations must be backed by evidence.
Judge & jury to the defendants (Mayweather & Goldenboy): "show us the evidence"
Where's the evidence that can exonerate Mayweather of defamation?
But if I know the Pacman, he will only ask for a public apology.Comment

There is a thin line between and implication and an accusation. Jr. has implied many times in pretty obvious ways. If the jury sees that floyd meant Peds when he said "power pills" and inferred that manny was on Peds when asked about his performance and answered the question by saying that "everyone knows the philippines has the best peds." than yes Manny has a shot with this lawsuit.Comment

Has mayweather damaged pacmans reputation with wild claims? yes he has, therefore he is guilty of defamation.Comment

Pacquiaos lawsuit will come to nothing.
It's just a ****** lawsuit in 1974 "the Supreme Court suggested that a plaintiff could not win a defamation suit when the statements in question were expressions of opinion rather than fact."
Just my opinion.
EDIT: Actually having done more reading you can be sued for allegations injuring someones trade but Pac will have to prove that it's damaged his work.Last edited by Ryn0; 06-14-2010, 12:45 PM.Comment

Some will argue that it was him that turned down the fight, but some can argue that he was put in a lose-lose situation... It's up to the judge to decide.Comment

Because this...

"Yes, they accused me so I pulled out and lost money so now I'm suing."
You guys will believe anything.
