130-147 I can only see him having problems with Floyd.

I'm not too confident about his abilities at 147. He was really too small for WW.

Chavez has a much better chance at beating Mayweather at lower weights, particularly at 135 (where Chavez seemed to peak in the Rosario fight) then the Mayweather of today at WW.

Mayweather seems to have grown comfortably into a solid WW. Chavez never did until he was an old man.

Chavez never had even one really good performance at welterweight.

What did Chavez do that makes people so confident about his chances at WELTERWEIGHT? I can definitely see 130-140, but not 147.

Chavez is almost unstoppable....except at 147...

but def, in the WW catchweights (141-145), he's a tough man to beat.

as mentioned...Manny can overpower/outspeed him and Floyd can outpoint him. other than these two elite fighters, and potential ATG's beside JCC...nobody touches him.
