Manny P. would have to go on a 2 month starvation regimen and trim down to a featherweight. He's have to dehydrate himself to such a degree that he would hardly be able to walk to the weigh-in without help. He'd have to make sure he was a bit overweight so that he could make a couple of weigh-in attempts. He'd have to be almost demented and uncaring of his future, by virtue of a 2 year prison sentence he'd have to begin just after the fight.

AND he'd have to have his personal, business, and financial life in shambles all before, during, and after the fight.

THEN, I can see Mayweather beating Manny the way he beat Corrales.
LOL! good post. some people don't know what went down and corrales' mind state during that fight.

      LOL at the Thread Starter,

FYI - The Pretender hasn't beaten down anyone above a C class caliber fighter. Juanita and Shane were shutdown, but not beaten the f**k down !!

Well Pacquiao wouldn't get up from 5-6 knockdowns...not 147 Floyd...

How right, and I recall that there was much publicity about the cunning and astuteness of what they referred to as "Mayweather's Brains' Trust" in picking the perfect time to get a sufficient advantage over the other huge threat, the unbeaten killer, Diego Corrales.

In business cunning opportunism, it was "great", but in sportsmanship, and true measure of talent competition, it was cheap and shoddy, an exploitation of a helpless kid.

Oscar also used to look for these sort of advantages, his "advisors" also being referred to as Oscar's "Brains Trust". Until they slipped up against Trinidad, and then against Mosley.
