I had Williams up by two points, maybe I was a little bias. Fight was really close.

This is his way of saying his standards for winning fights is higher than what transpired that night.

He's just being diplomatic and taking the high road. He knows he won, but he would never say it. Its not his style.

          I had him winning 8-4.

Jack stop chatting **** like that.

Whether he felt he won or not, that's not his issue. He is a real man and accepted it like one. No excuses.

A close fight is not a roberry. It gave the fans a good fight and he emerged.

Why do you care? Believe what you want? The only thing Williams did was show stamina, Martinez did all the good work.

              I don't score volume for volume's sake.

It doesn't matter if he thought he won or not because he doesn't get to make that determination, judges and fans do.....

I had him winning a razor close fight but it could have easily( and did) go to Paul.

I scored it 115-113 in favor of Williams, however I'd like to see a rematch because it was so close. But I believe it was so close because Williams wasn't ready for such an opponent. He took the fight on two weeks notice and had to switch from training for a stationary, one dimensional right handed power puncher to a skilled, quick south paw. What happened last time he did that? He got schooled by Quintana. But what happened when he got to train a full camp and prepare himself? I'm not saying Martinez would get KO'ed, but I think Williams would win a more comfortable 116-112 decision in a rematch. I'd like to see Martinez school Felix Sturm first, though. That title needs to be in the hands of someone worthy.

Again the fight was a close one and Martinez is been classy here because i doubt any fighter would say they thought "They didnt win" but am sure both fighter recognise they push each other close in a tight fight, Anyone that has this fight 2 or 3 point to one fight need their heads checked and shouldnt be taken seriously.
