I remember when boxing historian Bert Sugar said that Marquez vs. Mayweather was 50/50 and a fight he liked very much. . .

days after the fight, you see Bert Sugar discrediting the win,
and saying he cherry picked the fight.

i just don't understand the logic in that.

This guy's opinion isnt as valid as most posters on here.

Im sorry, but it should be clear to all of us that he is a bitter
old man who is stuck in his own time.

He said in the 20 years no one has made it into his all-time list.

        WTF???

Not Hops, Jones, Toney, Whitaker, Floyd, Pac, Holyfield...

Please stop posting this guy's opinion.

Oh, and its a good thing that the days of athletes being treated like ****** are over. Guess he missed that memo.

          You are interpreting this wrong!!!

It's not that Floyd will or will not win. It's that with Manny, these historians are saying, the odds are not as stacked as with let's say a Marquez or a Baldomir. With guys like that, Floyd signs the contract with his eyes closed..... but these historians are saying this is why there are all these delays.

So it's possible that Floyd can still win but Manny has enough of a chance that Floyd is not sure about the win and keeping his ZERO in tact .......

I agree with you, can you imagine the press conference once people see these guys standing next to each other alot of opinion will change b/c especially in the begining Floyds probably around 160 right now. 2 me Floyd looked bigger than Shane in the ring

no kidding boxers today are slicker and have more power, I wonder if the fighters of yesterday could compete today. The reason I ask this is because Leila Ali said the older version of Ali (post 2 year suspension) could not have competed because his legs were not the same and the rope a dope would be dangerous.

Bottom line, this fight would of happened if Floyd did not call for excessive blood testing demands that he does not have authority over.

If the NSAC demanded them then this fight would of happened, but since Floyd through in this road block we are not going to see the fight..

But honestly, this fight aint happening since floyd only fights once a year now FACT..
