I ran into Glen Johnson last week and he said a major next will be putting the fight along on the same night (all on one channgel) as the Alexander and his opponent fight in August.

Johnson might not be able to keep up with Cloud right now but he'll give it all he's got and who knows? Maybe he can pull out a win but I'm going with Cloud by clear decision.

I dont think hes that much of a flop. The kid is tough, hits hard and has a crazy workrate. Johnson is going to be a major test.
The problem for Johnson is that he is getting really old and shopworn, its going to be difficult to **** with a kid like Cloud all night long.
Right now Im thinking Cloud pulls it off, but I wont be surprised if Johnson has one left in him.

I think Glen can win this fight but it will be difficult. He is 41 but he did peak very late in his career and I he showed against Mack that he can still hang with with some of the best. From what iv'e seen of Cloud his main strength is his power and work rate, Gonzalez and Woods didnt hit hard enough to keep him off them. I think Johnson has the power to hurt him but im not sure he will be able to keep it up for 12 rounds.

Good to see a thread about this fight. I like both guys, but I've always been a Johnson fan before Cloud even came on the scene. So as far as rooting interest goes, I've got to pull for Johnson. As far as who I think will win it, I think Cloud will. If Cloud does win, then the next big fight in the division between Pascal and Dawson won't be for the Ring belt because Cloud would have taken the #2 position. I'll bet a lot of people didn't know that.

So as far as the benefit of boxing goes, Cloud needs to win this fight because Johnson is in the twilight of his career.
