Comments Thread For: Yuri Foreman Will Make Another Run After Surgery Rehab

Former WBA junior middleweight (154 pounds) champion, Yuri Foreman, will begin rehabbing on Monday, and could return to the ring in as early as sixth months following Friday's surgery on his right knee to repair a torn ACL and meniscus as well as to clean out debris, according to a recent e-mailed statement from the Brooklyn resident's publicist. I watched this fight on a link for the first four before it died. I thought Foreman was doing good and holding his own for the first four. I don't know what happened after that but if his leg went out there was no way he could win as movement and size was the key. He seemed like a real true boxer so I look forward to him getting back.

yeah he maybe a changed fighter knowing know that his knee will be 100%. He may sit down on some of his punches since planting his feet was next to impossible with his old knee injury.

yuri learned alot about him self vs cotto.
i think he comes back a better fighter.more confidence and it wont be just
in the knee.he was in a tuff spot and never stopped trying to win.took some
hard shots and didnt fold.rehab knee properly with rest come back better
                than ever.

I'm pretty sure him sitting on his punches has nothing to do with his knee and more to do with the way he prefers to fight. If his knee injury was so bad, he wouldn't be moving around the ring the way he does.
