Pernell Whitaker to co-train Zab Judah

    By G. Leon

July 01, 2005 - Moments ago undisputed welterweight champion Zab "Super" Judah contacted **********.com to inform us that ring legend Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker will co-train him along with his father Yoel Judah. In other Team Judah news, New York based attorney Joshua Dubin has been brought in as Judah's new legal representative. "Pernell is here with me and he's going to show me all of his tricks. You know what that means, it's a wrap for everyone, we're about to shut the game down," boasted Judah.

Hopefully he doesn't think trying to transform himself into a Pernell Whitaker will help him in any way...a good trainer is going to sharpen his strong points, not mold him into the fighter he[the trainer] once was.

I don't think he will, Yoel Judah won't let him.
