it would be interesting to see mike fight opponets 6f6 1/2 and 6f7...... it would be the tallest opponets he has ever fought
    Totally agree.

We know all about Wlad. He has a great jab, fantastic power, fights extremely cautious. Prime Tyson had a great chin, so he takes the power, he was fantastic at slipping, bobbing and weaving, so Wlad's jab wouldn't dominate, and his power would eventually leave Wlad flat. I have no doubt.

Vitali has an ability to slug and the chin to back it up that his brother doesn't, so he could take the speed and power of Tyson and keep throwing back. It is truly a 50-50 fight.

tyson surely would have gotten in on a younger wlad, but wlad in current form - i just dont see tyson getting in on him. tyson had a ferocious and mean style. IMO this is the best style to beat wladimir, but tyson would have to eat alot of leather before finally getting in. i think wladimir's sharp powerful jabbing with a few big rights makes tyson respect him early. if tyson would keep up the extreme pressure the whole fight and stay focused, i could see him getting a KO win - but it wouldnt happen. if they were the same size, id say tyson - but wlad's height and his nearly flawless use of it make him a nightmare for just about anyone.

similar case with vitali - use of height and awkward style puts mike out.

just to put it out there, i dont think prime mike beats a prime lennox. when mike really stepped up to that top level of competition he was already fading as a person and a fighter.

but what ever, say what you want. tyson was fantastic and great, but he was only fantastic and great for a short period of time, so it makes you wonder how fantastic and great he REALLY was. i think he cemented himself in sports history with how much of an icon and attraction he was. lennox lewis never had the star power mike had, and still to this day way - mike is part of many more sports discussions than lennox. however, i feel lennox had a much stronger resume than mike, didn't end his career on multiple losses, and was a better fighter. lennox carried his legacy over a long period of time, you can't say the same about mike.

i guess what im trying to say is - don't think mike was better than he actually was because of his place in sports history, but dont take it the wrong way and think im saying mike ****** - cause he was amazing.

i dont know what else you could ask for from the klitschkos. they are dominating the division harder than any other division is being dominated. the reason no stars are emerging is because the klitschkos knock them off before they get anywhere. haye is the exception because he had a great reign at cruiser before moving up. adamek hasn't been knocked off yet, and he could draw a big fight, but he would need to avoid the klitschkos long enough to build up enough quality wins to become a star.

Calm down. Klits fight undefeated fighters and number one contenders, so watch who you're calling "bums" and look at Wlad's record again.

didn't his mom die before the fight or something? dude had something to fight for. douglas could have been great if he would have 'showed up' against everyone.

although douglas' lack of success in the end is disappointing - no one can ever take away one of the greatest upsets in history from him. fantastic performance...

Wlad would get destroyed, Vitali would be a close fight.

Nothing was fantastic about Douglas' performance on that fight. His opponent was just really too awful
