When ******* Blasts Hit Diamond Chins.....

    8:36 -- ka-BOOM

    9:45 -- Ka-ThOlp

My question to you is: Were the two hits landed of equal power, or did one of the hits have more power?

    Opinion of a poster:

notice how ali's head flings back, this helps the brain keep from impacting with the sides of the head where as holmes keeps his head still which has it act like a brick wall for the brain to smash into.

    What are YOUR thoughts?

The Mental Genius of Muhammad Ali:

Muhammad ali was a mental mastermind in that fight using reverse phychology. His rubbery legs routine made earnie shavers think twice about hitting him, even though Ali was REALLY hurt. He basically cond shavers into thinking he was faking it.

We know two things about shavers:
    1. Suspect Chin
    2. Poor stamina.

after 9:45 in the video, when ALi does rubbery legs shavers must have been thinking two things:

    1. If I go in for the kill, Ali could counter punch me and knock me out. All it would take is a right hand to my chin.

    2. This is a 15 round fight, I must conserve my energy, we are only in the early rounds. I can't put pressure on Ali because I am not Joe frazier.

Basically Shavers was caught between a rock and a hard place. This video proves that Ali is the mastermind of mental traps, which basically render you helpless. It is amazing how he does it. It was also part of his style adaptation after the 3 year lay off.

Roy jones jr was probably more athletic than Ali in his prime. After Ruiz, Roy jones did not have the mental capacity to adpat his style, nor did he have the physical durability.

I dont know if its just because he fell over but the punch landed on holmes looked like it connected with a lot more force

Shavers hit Holmes at the perfect time, Holmes was literally winding up a huge uppercut and got caught completely flush straight into the punch, I'd say Shavers hit Holmes much harder due to the timing of the punch.

Very different situation. Ali was pulling away whilst Holmes came straight in and it landed with a short thudding power, Tyson style.

So you think the angle it landed was different, but the force was the same. Is that right?

The Holmes shot was def harder. He really should of knocked out Holmes after that, he got way to wild. If he followed it up like he followed it up with Ali, Holmes would of been out of there. That shot was just plain vicious.

Do you think tyson hit harder in ONE SINGLE shot? (excluding accumilation punches)
