You can't risk a potential cash cow like Lemiuex this early. Let him get KO's against opponents that have been KOed or shut out by Arthur Abraham, Felix Sturm, or Kelly Pavlik. Talking about a Lajuan Simon, Marco Antonio Rubio, Enrique Ornelas, Mahir Oral.
Then we can talk about putting him in against a weak champion or for a vacant title.
He's still got plenty of time and he's already fighting some decent competition.Comment

lol.. u have to work your way up. hes only been past 5 once, how the hell is he gon fight a world class oponent next? hes never even been in a 12 round fight.
ayala was a step up, took abraham into the 12th and had a draw with sergio mora. decent fighter, a few more of those then some contenders and a title shot in like 5-6 more fights. hes like 21-22 years old, pushing him too hard would be dumb. to say he needs to man up is dumb too, he needs to grow up as a fighter and u cant force that. he needs more time.
he should fight some rugged guys next where he cant rely on his power and has to box more and is forced to go rounds. lajuan simon john duddy etc. then after that some other prospects like jacobs, golovkin etc.
its not like he could get pavlik next even if he wanted too anyways. no way in hell.Comment

yes he should fight guys like lajuan simon or rubio. I'd love to see him fight Rubio in front of a huge crown in montreal on another fnf show or probably shobox. IM sure shobox would love to have him vs rubio. in montreAL each fighter would probably make 6 figuresd as well. this guy is going to be a star in 2 years. let him get to 28-0 before challenging for a title. middleweight is going to be sick. him jacobs, korobov, golovkin, porter, etc.Comment
