I read this in the newspaper... Is de la hoya rumored to come back??? Cause he gave a list of the people he'd be willing to fight and threw de la hoya's name in there. If I were de la hoya I would come back, let cotto kick my ass (making him a bigger star) and sign him to GBP.

i hope emmanuel steward teaches cotto how to tie up his opponent when he is under pressure because if he did that in their 1st meeting he would of won miguel is a true warrior no one has fought more high level opponents then he has in this era

Yes, that was a mistake in the Margacheato fight. He didn't tie up. Maybe if he did that he could of avoided some of that plaster punches and made it through the whole 12 rounds and maybe even won because that was the in his prime Cotto. He was able to take brick punches for 11 rounds, he was a beast at that time.

thats the only bad performance of margarito, besides he was weight drained. what about the performance against clottey, williams, cintron 1 and 2, ur boy that loves to get on his knees Kneegel Jotto, Garcia after 15 months with out fighting. trust me dude, margarito has Jottos number, say wat u want to say when it happens and margarito woops him again. ull be the one puttin excuses why he (Cotto) got destroyed. just wait and see, no need to talk smack am being realistic.

Reading through the 12 pages of this topic, I see that the Cotto fans/Margo haters have not changed their record yet..."Plaster this, Cheater that".....

One thing in these 12 pages that a Cotto fan said does stand out though...

"Margo just had the style to beat Cotto that night"... Point is, Cotto fans just need to man up and admit this. Tony is wrong for Cotto...Always has been, always will be.

Even though Jack made some cats mad with his statements, he does have a very true point. When Cotto can't destroy/walk threw a fighter, he goes into full retreat mode...Cotto will not break Margo. Props for Cotto wanting the rematch, but folks seem to forget that Margo wants to prove he didn't cheat...So he will also be well motivated...

If this fight ever gets made, I will take Tony by another TKO.

I wish Miguel would have pushed for a Margo rematch earlier. At this point, Cotto could get hurt bad, again. I'm not so confident of Miguel being in there with a puncher right now.

Props to Cotto for this. That is what I am talking about. Good ****.

But, styles, styles, styles. Margarito is all wrong for Cotto. And, in the rematch Marg will win.

Thanks, you also picked Foreman to beat Cotto.

And this had nothing to do with style what you all neglect is the impact the plaster had on Cotto. If Plasterito had been hitting Cotto with the same pitty pat punches he hit Mosley do you think he would have hurt Cotto. The answer is no had Plasterito not had plaster in his hand he would have been worn down and stopped, it's a simple as that. And no idiot with the style makes fights bull**** is going to convince me otherwise.
