yeah thatll be the key cuz heavy bombs will be landed by both men. i was calling for williams 2 fight angulo after cintrons leap of faith but hes going back to 147. that would have been a good 1 too.Comment

I'm taking Kirkland over Angulo for the simple reason that he is more explosive than El Perro and will get his shots off faster. Also I have seen Kirkland fight in the amateurs since 2000 and he has underrated boxing skills (he rarely uses em like he did back in the day). If all things are even and push came to shove, Kirkland easily outboxes Angulo. Kirkland is a good boxer, he just never shows it since turning pro.Comment

I think Angulo lays him out. Cotto can be hit flush and I don't think he'll be able to take a shot like Angulo's.
Plus Cotto is a midget compared to Cintron. Cintron was just dropping his jab and his right hand on top of Angulo than moving backward. Cotto isn't even nearly tall enough to pull that off.
Plus I don't know if anyone remembers but all that moving backward that Cintron was doing had him looking like he was about to tip over from exhaustion or from any flush shot. Cotto has shown those same signs in fights where he's gettin beat, or pressured.
And Angulo is a different animal than Margarito. Margarito can't fight at 154 effectively, meanwhile Angulos been making a living dropping people at that division. People a lot physically tougher than Cotto. So I gotta go with Angulo.
But this fight should be next after the Alcine fight. It would be a war for as long as it lasts.Last edited by Alex_Hayden; 06-12-2010, 01:32 AM.Comment

kirkland is an animal. i was so pissed when he got locked up. hope he comes out and gets busy. do u think he will still fight at 154?? i read somewhere a while back that he blew up to about 220 pounds.I'm taking Kirkland over Angulo for the simple reason that he is more explosive than El Perro and will get his shots off faster. Hmmmm...cotto is 2hittable for my taste hell last against the yuri foremans of the 154lb world..but angulo has something margo and yuri don't have 1punch knock out power that's the deciding factor.logically cotto is undersized hittable: angulo laying out cotto. I'd pay ppv to watch this fight throw in montiel vs morel..calderon vs segura and um soto vs sum1? I'd pay for that.Comment
