I guess that's the main thing... but not looking good for the whole fight certainly isn't what he needed amongst all this Khan speculation (there was me a few days ago saying how great a fight between them would be).
Would Khan really murk him, as everyone keeps saying?Comment

Paul uses reflexes as his defence (solid enough chin too so far). Bad idea against Khan's speed. He aint gonna be moving away in time.I guess that's the main thing... but not looking good for the whole fight certainly isn't what he needed amongst all this Khan speculation (there was me a few days ago saying how great a fight between them would be).

However, he is a south paw who punches from wierd angles, and whilst not being a big hitter has enough pop to hurt Khan.
I said in another thread he's a proper Khan opponent, 50% KO ratio, known to British fans, Euro champ, undefeated. He'll propbably get a shot at him.
Last nights fight was not the way he usually fights, he normaly uses his legs a lot more, i think the pressure of a big home corwd got to him a little and he wanted to put on a more war like performance, which he doesnt have enough pop to be effective at. (and tbh, i dont think he liked being cut either - just going by Breen and Magee reassuring him inbetween rounds that it wasnt bad, it was like they knew he doesnt like it and wanted to make sure he knew it was just a scratch, but that may be me reading a lot more into it than there is).
He needs a couple more fights and we'll see, he's def not ready yet though, needs to step up the level of comp a bit.Comment
