He would. I used to think the fight would be competitive. And maybe it still would. But Floyd would find a way to win.
Floyd Would Beat Paul

Finally the poll is reasonable, Williams is terrible, his skills are limited to throwing alot of weak punches and getting hit alot. he does not even use his advantages so when his limited skills are mobilized by any counter puncher he looks lost and his size becomes a disadvantage simply because he big ass is such a big target for his opponent. Williams would have went after Floyd no question but how effective would he really be with someone like Floyd who is light years faster than Cintron and better at nearly ever possible aspect of defensive posturing to land counters, i firmly believe Williams will get got bad soon and i have no problem saying and wanting to see Floyd break him down. Floyd is to good of a boxer to not frustrate an under skilled fighter like Williams and beat him fairly easily.Comment

Williams Vs Cotto one guy can't stand pressure the other guy is easy to him to the head and body, both are somewhat suspect in both divisions and whoever won would possibly finally be in the mix for the big fight with either Floyd or Pac, neither is anywhere near deserving now anyway.Comment

im not sold on Paul "comfortabley" making 147 anymore, we know Floyd makes that easy...Paul doesnt fair well against slick fighters, I gotta go with Floyd on this one. Obvious its by decision, I dont think Williams looks good in this fight. Paul looks to me at times uncoordinated...almost like hes too long, too lanky for his style. It does make him awkward, but against a pure boxer of Floyds class it more makes you a target than an awkward fighter.Comment

True. After Williams threw Peterson's pathetic gameplan away, and started fighting like Paul The Punisher Wiliams...Cintron jumped out of the ring.Mayweather ain't no 5'11 southpaw, or have the activity of Quintana. Neither is he the puncher that Cintron is. People fail to understand that Paul's game plan was to make Cintron lead, and he failed to do that. That is the main reason why Cintron was sucessful, but had Paul started leading early you would have seen a major difference.Comment

I used to think PWill could beat him but something has changed with PWill. Like there are cracks in his armor or something. Kermit the frog was giving him the business before jumping out the ring. Martinez was toying with him in the late rounds.
I don't know anymore. I thought PWill with his reach and workrate would be too much but lately he has fell off. He hasn't shown that indestructible style that he used to have.Comment
