Paul McCloskey defended his Euro JWW tittle in belfast against Lauri with an 11 round KO.

Scrappy, well below par performance from McCloskey but got the job done. He elected do brawl rather than box to please the home crowd, but he's not too effective at that.
Had a point deducted in the 10th for head butting, and went into the 11th looking to box to win the rounds to get the judges nod in a close fight.

Lauri punched him in the head 3 times in the clinch when the ref told them to break, then as they were breaking held his hand out for Paul to touch gloves, Paul was having none of that.

Lauri (who had been talking/complaining to the ref for the whole fight) spoke to the ref, (who had said to box on) and Paul caught him with a cracker of a shot and put him down, the ref didnt even bother finish the 10 count.

This punk McCloskey has been dreaming of a Khan fight, He is 30 years old and he thinks he can get a shot at Khan, Silly bastid! If the fight ever happens it will be very embarrasing for McCloskey.

not really, everyone would expect Khan to batter him senseless.

And with him being known to the British boxing fans, undefeated, Euro champion, and sporting a mesley 50% KO ratio, is a custom made Khan opponent.

Now, if he KOd Khan, that would be embarrasing lol.
