    Uppercut, underrated?

    It seems that most boxers are looking to improve their jab and hooks, but the uppercut is fairly undervalued as a very effective punch.

      I wouldn't say the uppercut is underrated. I'd say most fighters today prefer to fight from the outside and uppercuts are best used on the inside. So no the uppercut is not underrated, just underused because it's not the best punch to throw in most circumstances.

          Yehh.. the uppercut is effective because it's out of your field of vision and you really can put your legs into the punch
