I saw Dzinziruk once on some video, and wasn't really overly impressed. Plus, his competition level also hasn't been that great either.
Dzinziruk vs Cotto

He's highly skilled.
And he's been fighting the best available competition. He's been avoided a lot, and HBO's Greenburg refuses to have him on HBO.
He definitely MUCH better than Yuri Foreman.Comment

Yeah tru... I mean Dzinziruk isnt the most exiciting fighter but i think this would be an interesting matchup and a good test for Cotto. I think it would also force Dzinziruk to come out of his shell somewhat i guess.Comment

even at 154 Dzinziruk has never faced no one like Cotto.easy win for Cotto but it will only spark rumor that hes ducking Angulo,Cintron,Pwill,Martinez or Margarito rematch so even with two belts wont do nothing for Cottos career!!!!Comment

Dzinziruk doesn't have the style that usually troubles Cotto. He isn't agressive; doesn't aply much pressure, and he isn't much of a puncher. He's better then Foreman, I can say that much. I'd pick Cotto to win a U.D though.Comment

eastern europeans are bad money unless they fight out of germany, canada, australia (as their adopted country). Casual fans like watching people of their own country so they can relate to them. Thats probably the main reason why broadcasters dislike them. Eastern europe is a copyright piracy heaven so probably they couldnt even sell it there.
the only few fighters that brake the boundaries of country and race (for casuals) are the really great ones like tyson, ali or pac.Comment

I disagree here.....he applies pressure and is aggressive especially when he's in his groove. He doesn't have power that's true but I don't see Cotto getting out of the way of the jab.
I'd say Dzinziruk UD.Comment

The jab is something i wondered about too but Cotto has good movement and will probably catch much of those jabs on the gloves; however I dont see Dzinziruk getting away from Cottos jabs. Also there is the height difference which may play against Cotto.Comment
