Froch. People, including me, pick against him all the time. But I like Froch and I'm usually rooting for him to win.

Jonathan Pasi. He fought 3 weekends in a row in March and fought on the Wladimir Klitschko-Eddie Chambers undercard against Nenad Borovcanin, he's tough even if technically very limited. Some of his fights are on youtube all of them feature him losing.

My favorite underdog fighter will always be Jesse James Lieja. He was constantly being used as an opponent (which is the criteria for an underdog IMO) and he would give people hell and even get upset victories. I remember him working Macho Jr. when was a rising star only to get robbed. Overall, I just feel he is a likeable guy in the sport, is very dedicated and due to him being from my hometown.......I was able to meet him a few times.

Definitley. Alphonso seems straight, I like to see him reach his goals. Another guy I liked in the underdog role was Augustus, he seemed always willing to put a performance on for the crowd no matter the opponent.

I guess I like sometimes following guys that get on tv but are just the B or C side. They only get like a weeks or less time for preparation. I know I couldn't do that. There almost beyond underdog status.

I guess that has alot to do with it too...I think the regular fan can identify much more with them underdog type than the so called "superstars" of the sport....
