Why Steward's fighters have gas problems?

Spinksjinx noticed in another thread that Wlad, Harris, and Lennox , all trained by Steward, had gassed out in their very important fights. All of them seem to have had serious stamina issues. I wonder if this is a real phenomeon or a mere coincidence.

lol seriously though i don't know, with harris it could have been the nerves and that he went all out in the first, but still strange he ran out of gas that quick. wlad fight haven't seen only pictures where he looked very weird on like he was sick or something. and lewis his stamina was good, when in shape.

I think it is because Steward doesnt have control over his fighters. Case in point Hearns gets a massage, Vivian hits the mitts. He might overtrain them in the gym as well.

Manny is great but I think it is the preparation and ability control his fighters.

Manny probably only works w/ technique and works in the corner to give advice and leaves conditioning to someone else.

Wladimir was lifting a lot of weights during his time at the Kronk gym in preparation for Brewster. I think that was his downfall.

I agree with spinx he doesnt have control over these guys.
If they feel they dont need to run, they dont and they do something else.Stamina is the #1 priority in boxing, you could have the fastest and strongest car but if it runs out of gas before the finish line then its ****in useless.

Steward is an all time great trainer. But I think the best trainer in boxing right now is Buddy Mcgirt.
