Oscar's competition is not weak, kid was facing:

      Jesse James Leija
      Genaro Hernandez (undefeated)
      Rafael Ruelas
      John John Molina
      Jorge Paez

before his 20th fight. How many really good fighters can you say he didn't face around his 7 weightclasses? Winky maybe... You can't even say Forrest (RIP) and Tszyu. And if you don't know the timeline go look at it.

All of this money, money, money, **** started because of Mayweather and if you want to go after the originator, you need to go way back to SRR (RIP).

Oscar didn't do anything different than any other prize fighter before him.

He might be a ****, effeminate **** who runs a corrupt ass promotional company, but he's not the first nor the last to do so.

De La Hoya is far from the first guy to care a lot about money and be a prima donna in negotiating. What matters to me is the end product, not necessarily the motivations of the fighters. And De La Hoya fought some real high-quality opposition during his career.

We should be privileged that we get to see our favorite boxers and if you have a problem with them wanting to make a lot of money then don't pay for tickets or PPV, its that simple. $50-60 bucks once or twice a year(depending which fighter) is not a lot.
Sure, but that's not what I was getting at. I'm happy to do my part in paying a fighter for their work, but in return they have to do something for the fans, which is fight good opposition. The better the fight is and the bigger the names, the more we'll pay. If it's a dud fight on paper, nobody should cough up.

              Simple.

Do you know what all richest people in the world have in common? They didn't say ''10 mil is enough to last me a life time''.

People have aspirations in life, those aspirations are greater than the opinion of someone who likely streams their fight.

I never said anyone who makes 10 mil should stop at 10 mil now did I?

                  I said,

if someone cannot make 10 mil last an entire lifetime,

                  they're a ****king moron.

Now, in regards to your jab at me and how I view my fights, I actually go to cards.

                  Vazquez Marquez I & III
                  Arreola Hayes
                  Arreola Adamek

In addition, I've bought more than my fair share of PPVs. Even crappy ones like Barerra Fana.

What happened to wanting to unify a division, or to prove you are the best by fighting the best? That is why Oscar De La Hoya ruined boxing. Greedy bastards that don't give a **** about boxing fans.
HEEEELLLLOOOO IDIOT!!!! **** like that was done prior to DLH. Oscar fought just about everyone. You can't say the same about most of today's boxers.

u try to understand these fighters, but u dont understand why paying fans criticize them?
