Your point? You work to get money. I'd rather have millions in my account than appear on a HBO highlight real and feature on someone top 10 atg list.

As long as we fans pay their way. To make us cough up money for them and support their livelihood, they need to make sure they're giving it their all, and most importantly giving us what we want. If they - and the promoters - are clever enough, they'll realise that fans will pay big cash to watch good fights.

When they fight **** opposition or joke fights, that's when we can say "Hey, I ain't paying you no more!" Fair's fair.

these boxers dont put their health on the line for fans.....they are in it for the money and make all decisions based on money...you are ignorant if you dont realize that. If I was a professional boxer I would not even worry about fans when deciding the business side of things because the goal is to make as much money as possible for your future after boxing.

Yeah, but where does the money come from? Answer: the fans who pay to watch a fight. Technically, whilst they're in business for themselves, they're employed by us - the watching public.

            Just like musicians or actors.

              My point?

We don't make their financial decisions for them.

They waste their money on their own.

But they don't have to. If my wife and I can raise a family on our salaries, which are meager in comparison,

theres no reason why millionaire athletes have to go broke.

Can somebody name me a fighter who fought for legacy and glory that didn't earn a lot of money? Now whether they were smart or dumb with their money is a whole different issue. But, they earned millions of dollars that should of lasted them a life time. And, have their names live forever.

Just cuz you fight for money doesn't mean you going to end up rich. If you dumb with your money no matter how much you make you going to end up broke. And, if you didn't fight for legacy then you really fought for nothing.

Some of you dumb fucks don't realize that money doesn't come with legacy. But, legacy comes with money. Every fight fan should want fighters fighting for legacy. To say you rather have a fighter take on low risk/high reward type of fights. Shows me that you guys are not real boxing fans.

But, to be fair you can go as back as SRR for guys who were about money, diva in negotiations. You can even go further than that if you really wanted.
for as intelligent as you can be your blind hatred for delahoya astonishes me...

Its common knowledge that the only people who care about other mens financial statements,

                    are broads.

Well I said to be fair, and brought SRR and you can also bring up SRL. both guys were before Oscar. Basically saying that Oscar was not the first to do something like this. However, SRR and SRL>Oscar in every way shape and form.
