What happened to wanting to unify a division, or to prove you are the best by fighting the best? That is why Oscar De La Hoya ruined boxing. Greedy bastards that don't give a **** about boxing fans.
If I was a boxer I wouldn't give a **** about ''boxing fans' as the ''fans'' don't give a **** about the boxer. They'll be the first to say ''Hang up your gloves you're through'' after a couple of losses.

Get your money, fine, no problem with that, but as a paying spectator, I can and will be critical of who these guys fight.

Give me a fighter who fights for glory. None of you guys are real fans I swear. And, if you're smart if you fight for glory the money comes. It all matters is if you're smart for your money or not.
Tell me one fighter who fought for legacy and glory and didn't make millions? Now what he did whit that money is not the issue. You can fight for money but be dumb as hell with your money and you can be broke. Oscar was smart was his money more power to him. But, give me a fighter who fights for legacy and glory and is smart and is smart with his money. You would have nothing to worry about for the rest of your life. And, your name will carry on even after you die.

Thats not the fault of the fans who gave them that money in the first place.
