    Floyd MAYWEATHER provides free Boxing Summer Camp



    Summer 2010 Camp

    Important Details

    Please read this portion very thoroughly prior to expressing interest in Mayweather Boxing Club’s Camp and keep for future reference.

    When will this day camp take place?

    Each camp session will run for two weeks from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Monday- Friday for the following dates:

    ■Session 1
    - Weeks of July 5th & July 12th

    ■Session 2
    - Weeks of July 19th & July 26th

    ■Session 3
    - Weeks of August 2nd & August 9th


    Where will this camp be held?

    Mayweather Boxing Club

    4020 Schiff Drive

    Las Vegas, NV 89103


    Who should apply?


    We are looking for youth ages 5-18 (both male and female) with the following characteristics:

    ■Positive attitude towards taking instruction and learning,
    ■Able to do the physical activities required for this camp,
    ■“C” average or better and satisfactory citizenship in school is REQUIRED for ages 12 and up and
    ■Able to show good conduct in a cooperative environment where the ratio is 5:1.

    How will the selection process work?


    To first meet the needs of our immediate community, priority will be given to campers that reside in Las Vegas, NV.

    All Interest Forms from this state with the required postmark or online submission date and report card (if applicable) will be placed in a lottery pool by age group.

    The age groups for the camp are as follows:

    ■5-7
    ■8-10
    ■11-13
    ■14-16
    ■17-18
    If the number of campers interested exceeds the number of available slots, a waiting list will be created (in case any cancellations occur).

    Each interested camper must choose which session they are interested in attending. There will be an opportunity to be placed on a waitlist for additional camp sessions if space is available.

    If slots remain open, another lottery will take place with interested campers from additional states.

    How much does this camp cost?

    This camp is being offered FREE OF CHARGE.

    Other information

    There will be a snack provided to the campers daily.

    NO transportation will be provided. All campers MUST be dropped off and picked-up on time.

    Completed Interest Forms submitted online or received with a postmark date not later than June 21 will be considered within the first pool of applicants. Forms received following this deadline will likely be placed on a waiting list unless available slots remain.

    Would the kids have to be blood tested for steroids up their A$$es like Mosley was?

        Um...I dunno if I want random people knowing how to properly throw a left hook. I mean, now ****heads won't be throwing looping haymakers? How is that good for society?
