Lots of people will re-watch Mayweather's fights. Anyone learning to box can benefit from watching Mayweather, he is very skilled and fundamentally sound. It sounds like you are penalizing Mayweather for not being hit very much, you seem to think that hitting without being hit and dominating opponents makes a fighter "boring."

      Mosley the inactive old man.

Marquez the blown up light weight who he cheated.

Hatton the blown up jr. welterweight.

Gatti who already had 3 fights with Ward.

Floyd Mayweather stands for nothing other than retreat retreat retreat.
Genaro Hernandez was the #1 fighter at 130 when Floyd fought him. Angel Manfredy was the #1 fighter at 130(except Mayweather) when Floyd fought him. Diego Corrales was the #1 fighter at 130 when Mayweather fought him. Castillo was the #1 fighter at 135 when Floyd fought him. Gatti was the #2 fighter at 140 (behind Hatton) when he fought Mayweather. Baldomir was the lineal/ring champion at 147 when Mayweather fought him. Hatton was an undefeated P4P fighter who was in many ways bigger than Mayweather. Mosley was ranked by many people as the #1 fighter at 147 when Mayweather fought him.

How was Mayweather avoiding the best fighters, if the opponents he didn't fight (besides Pacquiao) were ranked below the opponents he did fight?

Floyd will be remembered as the guy who tried to cherry pick a lightweight, but ducked him instead.
