That arguement hasn't held any "weight" for quite some time now....

Pacquiao diddn't need to cut so much weight for his fights post Diaz....

And since his Morales II fight...he has been coming in at pretty much the same weight (give or take 2-3 lbs) come fight night....145lb-148lb range....

As far as explanations go....haven't you been listening to Ariza? (sarcasm)

"Protein shakes and rigorous strength and conditioning workout"......basketball sure as hell doesn't add muscle....but will definately keep your stamina up.

Basketball players have been known to add 15-20lbs of muscle in a single summer....although they are tested on and off season for PEDs....don't know if HGH or EPO is on that testing list.

your saying the same thing that all these other cats are saying... i dont know if its cuz i actually box and know the diffrence between water weight and muscle or that i actually seen pro like campa and adamek cutting weight.... tomaz adamek is a perfect example he looked a lil sloppy in the areola fight thats cuz he either put ob or kept some of his water weight... not paquiao paquiao before delahoya walked around @ about 145 and he would drop to 129 that means his walking around weight those extra 15 pounds were water not muscle so no matter how you cutt it he put on 13 lbs of muscle between 3-15-08 and 12-06-08 he put on 13lbs of muscle ... if it was that he kept some of that water and fat from his walking around weight he wouldnt look as ripped... examples adamek vs areola, marquez vs mayweather, even cotto vs foreman... during the weigh in cotto looked a lil chunky that cuz he kept some of his water weight

No way no how it must be the juice according to all these naysayers..
That's one of the most idiotic posts I've read on here. You're overlooking the short period of time it took for Pacquiao to move up in weight. Now I'm not saying he's guilty or not but it's very su****ious. And if you don't think so then you're just naive.

Dont know where hatton got the conclusion that

"pacquiao was getting knocked down by smaller fighters just a few years ago" (JMM) wtf? when did we see him down against any of morales, barrera or marquez???

Unless he was refereing to when pac was 18? which would be a bit ****** of hatton, cos he normally talks sense......if hes comparing the 18 year old to the 28 year old...then thats abit ******ed

ummm all the protein in the world aint gonna put on 13 lbs of muscle im sorry... matter fact i know body builders that take alot more than protein shakes and only put on about 5 or 6 lbs of muscle in the same amount of time... and these cats consentrate on weights only and dont do any cardio.... manny has one the sickest cardio workouts in boxing

I think this is Hatton's ****ty way of trying to get the fight to happen by making him take the tests. Saying that, if all fighters come out and do the same it may work eventually.

I'm not surprised. He's probably right.

No different than wanting to check and see if Margo is loading his gloves. Taking roids is just as bad, but harder to catch.

Exactly. I think Hatton is right. He should have been more su****ious. When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
