no one is dis*****g this fact.......but really what are the chances?? What is the actual incidence of occurence of "injury" from getting blood drawn??? I think you will find it is very low-------> how did Tygert put it....almost non-existent. Let's also not forget Mayweather exposes himself to the same risk of injury.....unless him being taller than Manny somehow means he is not as susceptible........

What are the chances a USADA rep who draws blood for a living is going to miss a vein on a guy with sub 7% body-fat???
Your chances of gettin in a car accident driving to the gym or getting hurt sparring are probably just as likely as you suffering an injury that would negatively impact your performance......

and let's not forget......Floyd exposes himself to the same slim chances of being "injured"

priceless article. hepatitis (especially c) can only be transmitted by sharing needles , which we can see in drug abuser , not when taking blood ,because needles are not shared on taking blood for testing . but there is still a chance of infection from cutaneous flora (bacteria found normally on the skin of healthy individuals) , which can be eliminated by sterilizing the area where the needle is entered. haematomas can be avoided if experienced hands are taking the blood . all there risks combined are very very rarely encountered , we almost never see them .if taking blood from the arm causes pain or discomfort for the boxer, then blood may be taken from anywhere else , legs for example .and and no i'm not a doctor i'm a 4th year medical student .
