its floyd who refused the extra testing that pac was willing to take to fight him.

just check & ask yourself why floyd mayweather jr. has a international reputation as a cherry picking scared ducker who is afraid to fight threatening opponents & lose his undefeated record?

all this requirements from just to fight a fighter he marginalized as overrated, easy work, & comingn from a lower weight class.

****ing pathetic b*tch that floyd is. he deserves his infamous reputation.
Lmao. Pac willing to take what tests? Floyd compromised and even went to mediation to make Pac agree to 14 days. Pac didn't want no part of it.

All of a sudden they aren't in negotiations and Pac says 14 days to the media and he agrees. When he had the opportunity to sign the contract did he agree? No.

And please.. Why did he not agree when they were in negotiations? Sounds like Pac is ducking to me.

And since he didn't agree when he had the chance to.. what is his reason? Just because he said yes to 14 days to his uncle's grandma's aunty's cousin's friend.. that means nothing. He needs to agree when he is in negotiations.

Bulls eye... They gotta defend their precious Floyd at all costs though, even at the expense of their sanity.

Lets also not forget what KIND of sport there in.... They have more of a risk walking to the ring than what these "professionals" are making it out to be.

Like someone else said, Lets "cancel the 2012 Olympics" but not due to bomb threats or terrorism but that of the testing protocols that puts all the Olympians at a "serious risk".....

At the end of the day, "The ball is in Pacquiao's court" - Brian Kinney

IMO he will test and that the dispute wont be over testing but that of money. In which Mayweather better agree to 50/50 because that is fair and on a "even" level playing field when speaking of money.

To the members of the Nevada State Athletic Commission:

As an individual who follows the sport of boxing and is concerned with the health and safety of boxers who participate in the State of Nevada, I would like to request that the Nevada State Athletic Commission investigate Dr. David Watson's performance as a ringside physician.

On Saturday, July 21, 2007, Dr. Watson was the ringside physician for a lightweight bout between Michael Katsidis and Czar Amonsot. During the course of action, Mr. Katsidis suffered four cuts (three in the area of the right eye and one under the left eye) and was allowed to continue by Dr. Watson

It would seem to me, a follower of boxing, that Katsidis' cuts would have effected his ability to defend himself and put him in physical danger above and beyond the norm.

I would like for the Nevada State Athletic Commission to investigate Dr. Watson's decision in the Katsidis vs. Amonsot bout.

"The physician should know at least as much about the fighters as the television commentators. The boxers are our patients, and it is virtually impossible to make the correct diagnosis without an appropriate history.

Understanding the fighter’s record (both amateur and professional), past injuries, and preparation can make a significant difference. All too often, the ring doctor will have little or no knowledge regarding the boxer’s training regimen and whether or not they were hurt in the gym or had issues making weight. You can ask these questions at the weigh-in, but for obvious reasons such things are frequently concealed.

It is also important to be aware of the capabilities and proclivities of the cornermen. Are they related to the fighter, prone to let a fight go on too long, or have little expertise in handling a cut?

According to former Nevada chief physician Dr. Flip Homansky, a ring physician must go beyond practicing medicine.

“Most importantly they must be willing to learn the sport, have compassion, and be ethical,” said Homansky.

These are very valid points, but is it the norm in Nevada?

On the undercard of Pacquiao-Diaz, Humberto Soto took on Francisco Lorenzo for the vacant WBC super featherweight title. Following a barrage of punches and two knockdowns, Soto was disqualified for hitting Lorenzo behind the head while Lorenzo was down. Lorenzo concussed and bleeding from multiple facial orifices was inexplicably left alone without medical attention while referee Joe Cortez, Executive Director Keith Kizer, and ring physician, Dr. David Watson held a lengthy discussion.

If a fighter is hurt and the fight stops, the doctor must remain at the boxer’s side until he leaves the ring on his own volition or he is tranported to the hospital. No discussion!"

              Margaret Goodman, M.D.
Former ringside physician and Medical Advisory Board Chairman for the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Nevada Needs To Go With The Flow What separates a good ring physician from a great one is understanding the flow of a fight. It is the only way to accurately …

It's people like him who give the boxing game a...

No disrespect sir, but this is a very poor example to try to discredit Dr. Watson. Did you actually click the link you gave for the letter to the Commision about Dr. Watson (http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/DrWatsonReview/)
It was a petition to investigate Dr. Watson and the author wanted 100,000 signers. The petition got only 850 signatures and the article could have been written by his Mama for all we know.
As for the other article you gave a link for (http://trendmag2.trendoffset.com/display_article.php?id=55377), it's basically Dr. Goodman calling for all ringside physicians to know a complete history of each and every fighter - to include "Understanding the fighter’s record (both amateur and professional), past injuries, and preparation..." and also believes they should have "knowledge regarding the boxer’s training regimen and whether or not they were hurt in the gym or had issues making weight". Granted, some of these are obviously valid things the Doctor should be required to know, however the point is that none of that has anything to do with the credibility of Dr. Watson. Has he done everything perfect in his career? Probably not, as neither has most of the business persons involved in the sport. The examples you gave really have no bearing on the mans "credibility being suspect" in this matter.

                    Because he isnt Pac.

Under Section 21.65 in the BoxingScene.com law: any fan of Floyds must bash on Manny every move if it doesnt agree with Floyd.

If the Povetkin fight goes on without the OST, Floyd fans will pretend like it never happened and contine to say that Pac is the only man in history to reject OST
