Even if he fought Roman Gonzalez, I'd be happy.
That is the fight I want to see, who cares when the weight disparity is 3lbs, for all we know Roman could be bigger than him walking around, he is taller.

"While men like Fernando Montiel, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Sergio Martinez are fighting notable fights against well received challenges"
Which of these names doesn't belong with the rest? In terms of well recieved challenges I mean...This should be one of those grade 2 questions

¿Montiel has been fighting notable fights & well received challenges!? Maybe in his last fight, when he beat then WBC champ Hozumi Hasegawa to add the WBC belt to his reign...But Montiel has been avoiding his mandatory(#1 contender Eric Morel) for the past 2 years & fighting "Tomato Can" level opposition instead in the likes of Alejandro Valdez(who he actually lost to but the outcome was changed(3 TIMES) to end in a tech. draw) & a highly dehydrated Ciso Morales...

When "Tomato Can Killer" Sosa KO'd "Tomato Can" Juanito Rubillar on his 7th defense in November of 2008 , he said "This is a message for Calderón cause in 2009 all I want is to unify titles"...Then, NOT EVEN AN HOUR LATER he retracted his comment by saying "I changed my mind, for now I DON'T WANT TO UNIFY CAUSE I WANT TO REACH MY 10 DEFENSES OF MY TITLE, THEN I'LL THINK OF UNIFYING"! ¿So who was avoiding who? Sosa knew that if he fought Calderón he was not going to reach that mark....That's why Sosa was only defending against "Tomato Can's"(& struggling to beat them) before he actually faced a true contender in Mayol & got KO'd..& Don't give Me the headbut excuse, cause before the headbut Sosa was getting ROCKED & it was just a matter of time.....
