No. I can't recall that rule being used ever since I got into boxing.

I also can't really see anybody here liking that rule.

Its wack and pretty pointless. I'm sure a ref is more than capable of deciding whether a third knockdown is enough to stop a fight. Thankfully, it wasn't in effect for Pac JMM I. We might have never seen the rematch.

i think when it was used... it only meant if there were 3 knockdowns in 1 round..... thats when they would stop it... not 3 knockdowns through the whole fight,

we wouldn't have seen Marquez vs Pacqiuiao and missed a classic so no I'm also against a round being scored 10-6 for 3 knockdowns

I do like it, it is a sensible rule. 95% of the time the boxer who gets knocked down will not respond well and take a pounding till the fight is stopped. How many fights have you seen that a person has got knocked down two or more times on a round and made a comeback. Now think of all the times you haven't.

If you watch boxing regularly and not just PPV's you will see that it doesn't happen. If you want to see someone get beat up sure vote no. But if you want to see these boxers stay healthy and active this rule is important.

Think about it this boxer has taken enough punishment for him/her to either take a knee or fall on their ass THREE TIMES!!

Your arguement could be well he wasn't hurt he just got caught of balance once/twice, well too bad he shouldn't of got caught and if it happens more than once the opponent obviously has his number.

NOPE. That rule really doesn't make sense to me. The fight that comes to mind, PAC vs. JMM, that fight would have been over in the first, and we would have been robbed of an awesome scrap.
