is boxing's future safe against UFC

    Boxing will never even come close to dying. Right now the boxing scene isnt even that great and pac and floyd are BOTH getting great numbers when they fight. The klitchko bros sell out stadiums in europe just fighting bums. The super 6 is AWESOME. It could be the year 2500 with flying cars, but people will still watch pure boxers go at it in the ring just like they did in the 1800's.

    And we still have young rising talent like JCC jr, jose benivitez and saul alvarez.

    Boxing aint going nowhere, the HW division needs a major tune up though...

      How big of an appeal do you think they'll actually build up in the U.S. mainstream though, regardless of how successful they become in the ring.

          boxing vs MMA is just like cricket vs Baseball. somewhat 'similar', yet a completely different sport, therefore no threat between each other...

            too early to say that. we dont even know if mma will last more than a decade or it will flourish more.

            but one thing is sure: boxing will never die. it may face a low point in its existence but it will always comeback strong.
