It's time to bash NSB's flavor of the year:Sergio Martinez

Okay, I'm going to single him out but it applies to fighters like Paul Williams, Chad Dawson, or any other fighter that people claim fighters are ducking or are the "most feared fighter on the planet". Boxing is a 2 part sport, first being talent and second being do you bring in dough. You guys ***** all the time that your favorite is being ducked but where are YOU when these guys fight? I don't ever see people going nuts about the next big Martinez fight they will attend. You want these so called great talents to fight other big names then step your damn game up and support your fighters. Till then Martinez and Williams can keep the major names in the sport out of their mouth. Don't like it then they should give the fans more **** for their buck.

He's a good fighter and I won't debate that, but this kind of stuff always comes up when a talented fighter with no real fanbase can't get a fight with a big dog. They always claim ducking but that isn't the case. No way does Miguel fight Sergio and it has nothing to do with being scared.

You feel threatened for your boy.

Unless Cotto wants to go the PPV route against Margarito or Pacquiao, he has to eventually see Sergio. When you're an HBO fighter like Martinez is, you get the most money backing you. So the money argument has little validity.

If P-Will didn't have them backing him, he'd be ****ed all the way around.

Its to do with the fact that he'd lose.

He's got Argentina behind him and now a **** load of American boxing fans.... He's got a fanbase. When he fights someone like Cotto or Margarito again and wins, He'll BLOW UP.
