Chris John and Freddie Norwood outboxed Marquez?

I have a friend who has a special career dvd of juan manuel marquez. There were two fighters who outboxed him that I dont know that much about Chris John and Freddie Norwood. How can two fighters beat who ring magazine have ranked as number 3 and not become big ppv names themselves. Also, how can a fighter ranked number 3 by ring magazine have so many losses and to not huge names?

You have a friend who has this set, but did you actually watch those fights?

I saw those fights recently. Both times the decision should have went to Marquez IMO.

Marquez/John took place in John's home country of Indonesia, where Marquez was deducted 2 points for low blows that weren't even clear low blows. He landed those body shots right on the belt. Last time I checked, those are supposed to be legal shots. John made Marquez miss quite often, but Marquez surely landed more punches overall. I had Marquez winning by a close decision, including the 2 point deduction.

Is noorwood marquez as bad as John Marquez? I haven't seen that fight, but jesus John Marquez was terrible (the fight and the decision)

I would say that the Norwood fight is worse than the John fight. Norwood stunk up the fight by running too much.

By the way, Chris John is still the featherweight champion and undefeated. I would like to see Rafael Marquez fight Chris John!

I had JMM winning 9-3 against John and 8-4 against Norwood.

                Bull**** decisions.

surprised JMM still #3, though that's irrelevant anyway
and watch those fights before you trash JMM for them
and those losses were years ago, how the fuck they matter now?

yeah he showed me a great website where you can buy the careers dvds with all big fights of top fighters. It is cool I think I might and try to get one for cotto, mayweather and mosley. I guess I meant outpointed instead of outboxed. I actually had Marquez losing both fights by 1 point. He gets better with age minus the mayweather fight
