Internationally known promoter Fernando Beltran says the Mexicans have embraced pound-for-pound king and “Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao who together with his wife Jinkee and their kids are winding down a thoroughly enjoyable vacation in the beautiful state of Nayarit which is famous for its beaches.

Beltran who has played the role of host to Pacquiao told us “it’s been beautiful. It's an honor to have him here in Mexico. The people love him down here.”

Beltran said Pacquiao was honored by the governor of Nayarit, Ney González, in a ceremony Wednesday afternoon at which the Secretary of Tourism and even “everybody in the hotel were all happy to have him here.”

Pacquiao leaves Thursday night for the return flight to the Philippines via Los Angeles. It was reported that Pacquiao was very happy during his first visit to Mexico where he is an idol and where he and his family have been showered wwith hospitality.

Mexicans love Pacquaio are you kidding me? Everyone in my family wants to know when he fights next, and if he fights you can guarantee that my family will support him, and watch it. He won them over when he beat Oscar, but I've been studying him since before I was born.

                mexicans are bandwagoners by nature.......

49.9 % like pacquiao for being hyped and a winner.......the bitter nationalistic ones hate him so thats the other 49.9 %........then theres the objective boxing fans...which are scarce.......
