In terms of being able to make 147 we always compare him to the likes of Cotto, Mosley and Clottey, hell even Floyd looks big recently.

Why I bring this up is because Cotto moved up to 154 and out muscled a much bigger man in theory, certainly in height and a naturaly 154 lber. The only fights Pacquiao's had at 147 were against extremely strong welterweights (not counting Oscar) which makes Pacquiao seem weaker at the weight.

Um, well let's say Pac hit Foreman with the same body shot that Cotto hit him with. Do you think Foreman would've went down?

You may say yes-- but I don't think so.

I think at 147-- Pac has to hit guys with punches they don't see. Whereas at 120 lbs. he was KO-ing guys left and right.

I would also bring up how Cotto knocked down Clottey with a jab. Whereas Pac couldn't even hurt the mother****er.

Cotto didn't hurt Clottey, Clottey was off balance when he got hit.

        You kidding right?

Did Clottey covered liked an armadillo the whole fight when he faced Cotto they way Clottey did when faced Pac?

Cotto would weigh in around 160 pounds on fight night whereas Pacquiao weighs in only a couple pounds heavier than 147. That's the difference. Most all guys at 147 rehydrate to close to 160 if not more. Pac I think is best suited for 140 pounds.

The cause of this is a relentless assault, not punching power. Though Pac is packing (no pun intended) more serious pop than usual these days.
