  • The Mayweathers have a traditon of bottling the big fights Floyd will be no different

Roger lost to Tszyu, Chavez and Whitaker

    Floyd SR lost to SRL

Jeff lost to De la Hoya

The point being is that the family has a tradition of losing when they come across a fighter of real ATG quality.

Mayweather has never faced an ATG in their prime like Pacquiao has. Floyd has been carefully managed and has avoided the best fighters out there.

If they fight in October Mayweather will be overwhelmed by the greatness of Pacquiao something he will have never have experianced before. Pac has faught the likes of Morales, JMM and Barrera all in their prime so he will have much more experiance.

History has proven that when the Mayweathers step up their level of competiton they lose, floyd will be no different.

I expect Pac to put immense pressure on Mayweather similar to what Castillo did and then when he connects with one of his big left hands like Mosley did he will KO Floyd.

Barrera had just beaten Hamed, Morales, Tapia and Kevin Kelley when Pacquiao destroyed him. If you want to argue Erik wasn't in his prime for a Pacqiuao bout, surely Barrera was.

Barrera (2003) i agree but when Pacquiao beat Marquez he wasn't in his prime & Morales wasn't in his prime in any of the 3 bouts with Pacquiao.

Now has Pacquiao fought a ATG boxer like Floyd?

Well Marquez coming up to his 2007 bout with Pacquiao didn't look AS impressive in the bouts prior to the fight when he did coming up to the their first bout where he fought stronger calibre boxers then to the run up to the second fight.

Now has Pacquiao been in the ring with a calibre of boxer like Floyd?
