    That convinced me.

Mercante had big money on a Foreman win.

Anyone know what the odds were for the fight?

      Strange comments indeed.

Mercante is a bit odd though, he loves telling fighters to "suck it up" when in fact he should shut the **** up and let the fighter ready themselves.

He was probably getting flashbacks to the Cotto-Judah & Clottey fights which he also refereed. In the last one he was simply trying to cover up the slippery corner. It's rather unprofessional though.

You guys are dumb. Mercante has done this before several times in fights. Go back and watch the Cotto vs CLottey fight. When Cotto was headbutted you can hear him say "cut the ****!" or something similiar once he realized Cotto was bleeding. He threw a fit when COtto low blowed Judah in their fight as well.

I forgot he let Cotto hit low body slam and gave Cotto a break in the 10th when Mosley was tearing into him. Does he outright work for Cotto or Top Rank?
