Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis/Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age."

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

Even Manny Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch and retiring like a scared *****.

Wlad couldn't even beat Vitali.........and just FYI bfore you throw a tantrum....i am a fan of both Klits.........

Wlad would have a great chance of brutally knocking out Lewis.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron

Get your heads out of your asses.
Wlad sucks and can not defeat the men who Knocked him down. He bitched out of a Peter rematch because of what happened in the 10th round. Lennox did not need a big brother to avenge his losses and and handled everything on his own!

Wladimir fought the shot versions of Phil Jackson, Ray Mercer, Francois Botha and Hasim Rahman years after Lennox beat them, yet Lennox still outperformed Wlad against two of the prime versions..

Lennox KO 4 Prime Rahman in 2001
Wlad TKO 7 shot Rahman in 2008

Lennox TKO 2 normal Francois Botha in 2000
Wlad TKO 8 brain dead Francois Botha in 2002

Wlad can not even win the battle of common opponents. He sucks period compared to ATG Lewis.

Lennox was complacent and content ever since his win over his arch-rival Tyson. In the post-Tyson commentary there were talks if Lennox should leave the sport at the top of his game, as he had nothing left to prove.

Lennox took more than a year off from the sport and only accepted a fight to prevent the WBC from stripping his last title. Lennox was 37 years 292 days old, out of shape, and 10 lbs heavier than his prime fighting weight.

Vitali was 31 years old, PRIME, active and had been preparing for Lennox for 2 years. Vitali studied Lennox’s moves very closely on the set of Ocean’s 11 while Lennox sparred with Vitali’s sister Wladimir.

Vitali had every conceivable advantage, youth, power, size, preparation and still FAILED miserably. Quitali has a garbage resume' and has never beaten a single hall of famer.

he was done when he fought Vitali.
