So whether its PPV or not Cotto had more "homes" watching than every PPV bought but May/DLH. Obviously this is a ****** example, but I'm using your logic and everyone else who says "so and so" did more. Of course more people watched Pac/Clottey because people were throwing parties and had 5-15+ people watching it at their house. Unfortunetly, there is no Nielson spokesmen who comes and counts people at everyones house thus they use how many HOMES bought.

Also, if the ratings ****** they wouldn't have even brought it up. Instead they had some HUGE numbers for a boxing fight. Highest since the cash cow DLH fought Forbes in '08 and if you take that out I'm sure it was the highest rating on HBO in a decade for a boxing match. Point is people would be bitching about it being in PPV if it was, so its on HBO with a great rating and instead people ***** because it wasn't on PPV or because Cotto was in it, no point it giving it any credit. I mean jesus, just be happy boxing is making a comeback whether you like the guy or not, its simply GOOD for the sport.
    I'm not hating or anything.

But that must be the ******est logic I have ever seen somebody use.

Fact is Cotto-Foreman you didn't have to pay for, Pac-Clottey YOU DID have to pay for. Don't bring in that 5-15+ party bull**** cause that's just ******. I was just stating the fact that you cannot compare a FREE boxing event to a PPV boxing event.

Judging by your sig you must not be a Cotto fan.

Bro I have a Cotto avi. You can see I'm a fan.

You just cannot compare a FREE boxing event to a PPV boxing event. And I never said that it wasn't good for boxing. Jesus.

Why are you making **** up?

Plenty of other fights have done better then this one since DLH vs Forbes, the 1.9 million isn't for the live telecast alone.

I even admitted it was ****** logic, but its the logic you used. And HBO isn't free, I never look at my bill but its like 20 a month. You might have the best cable/satellite combo deal thus you think its free, but a basic cable package doesn't include HBO. But I get what you are saying, and I agree but what would be the point of putting any fights on PPV when the "free" fights aren't getting **** for ratings? If the HBO fights don't do well then you sure as hell know the PPV buys aren't going to do any better.

Who gives a **** how they got the total, 1.9 million UNIQUE homes watched the fight, whether it was replay or live that many people still watched.

Who gives a ****? People who count ratings give a **** idiot, u don't just count all the replays and add it to the rating. You count the live rating then you can say the replay also did good numbers and show them.

Margarito vs Mosley did 1.9 million viewers live, probably did another 600k for the replay, I guess they should have sent out a press release for 2.5 million and said it did better then DLH vs Forbes.
