I didn't watch them that closely, but I didn't see much out of the ordinary apart from a lot of holding and holding and hitting. Maybe some butts against Miranda? I'm not that sure.

I hope you are right that he behaves better against Green. Let's face it. Ward could be the next superstar from the US and it would be a pity if he wasn't a good rolemodel, He defientely shouldn't mold himself after Hopkins.

The honest answer is that I didn't notice that I didn't notice headbutts in those other fights. They might have been there, but I wouldn't put my house on it. I watched the fights to see what I could expect to see when he fought Kessler and what I saw of rough stuff was the mentioned holding and holding-and-hitting.

Well holding and in-holding isn't that big a deal. He's not Ricky Hatton. But he is a rough customer. A good trait, if you ask me.

Ward has the tools to a great fighter and the next yank superstar. I hope he wont be remembered as a dirty one. I really do. It would be the best for boxing.

Yeah, Tszyu didn't handle it very well and I was very disappointed by that. Perhaps a younger version might have turned back Ricky's challenge.

Anyway, I doubt Ward will be remembered as dirty fighter unless he proves to be so in the future. For now it's a pretty unfair label.
