R.I.P. Janfor Manuel Cayo, 2009-2010

On Tuesday June 7th, 2010, Janfor Manuel Cayo, the 14 month-old son of boxer Victor Cayo, tragically passed away suddenly and accidentally, when food became lodged in his throat and cut off his breathing. ********** joins Warriors Boxing in extending its deepest sympathy to Victor, his wife Gardys Pena Alvarez, and the entire family. This is the second tragedy that has befallen the Cayo family in the last year. In June of 2009, Victor’s long time trainer, Rudy Pena, the father of Ms. Alvarez and the grandfather of the deceased infant, passed away the week of Victor Cayo’s fight with Julio Diaz.
