I agree, they should of fought Williams. They went for what they thought was an easier fight in Shane. Because, they already had the Cotto rematch lined up.

But, is also true that P-Will turned down and immediate rematch.

They both turned down each other in separate occasions.

Cotto needs this rematch more than Marg...just for closure...sure it will bring the cheating mexican more money but if Cotto wins he can finally let those demons out of his head from the pounding he took from those cement bricks Marg calls his hands. Losing on the other hand would def let him know that Marg is the truth but i highly doubt that would be the outcome....Cotto was working him until that plaster started to harden then it was all Marg.

Pretty easy actually, he can make a lot more money fighting Cotto or Packy.

Why fight Martinez if those 2 guys are options?

MW champion ship. Maybe he can fight Martinez at 154 for both the JMW and MW titles. Leaving in a short list of Mexicans who have been a 3 division champ. I don't care there is no excuse on why turning down Martinez.

Its only money. If the Cotto or Pac fight never materialize, I'm 100% sure Tony would fight Martinez.

Its just finances, not cowardice. I mean come on, look who were talking about here. Only one of the most hard ass mofo's to come along in a long time.
